Lucky Date & Toby Green – Firebird [Revealed Recordings]

For their first collaboration together, Lucky Date and Toby Green did an absolutely unreal job. The American and the Dane combined sounds in the perfect manner on their release “Firebird” through Hardwell‘s Revealed Recordings. This track has been hugely underrated during its preview run, and has been one of Revealed’s most solid tunes in the last few weeks. The drops have a solid combination of Lucky Date and Toby Green sound, since the top-line is percussive and rocks a pounding bassline. The breakdown features more of the same, as a Far Eastern-influenced chord progression mixes perfectly with a smooth, legato synth that is just plain mesmerizing. Throw in a small trance influence on the lead synth and suddenly we have a high-octane banger from Lucky Date and Toby Green.
