R. City ft. Adam Levine – Locked Away (Joe Kinni Remix)

If you’re not crazy about the typical EDM tracks with booming bass lines and crazy synths, then you’re probably loving the wave of tropical house tracks that seem to be flooding everyone’s Soundcloud feeds. Right here is a tropical house remix of the Top 40 hit “Locked Away” from R. City and Adam Levine from new producer Joe Kinni. For someone so new I was surprised at how clean the production was as I’ve heard some producers struggle to get that pristine sound and it can make a track feel less polished, but that doesn’t seem to be an issue here.

Overall it’s a very tastefully done track, with a simple yet elegant sound accented by some very calming string sections. Joe Kinni is just starting out, but I’m anxious to hear what else this young producer is going to come out with. He’s done tropical house well, now lets see what else he can do well.
