Matt Nash & Felix Leiter – Heartbeats [Sosumi Records]

No matter where it lands, Matt Nash has consistently been doing fantastic work with his productions. He just teamed up with Sebjak for “Fire Higher,” and now makes his Sosumi Records debut with Felix Leiter with “Heartbeats”. The track really fits the label perfectly, but brings a bit of a unique spin to the whole “groove cartel” thing. “Heartbeats” has a much more energetic sound when compared to the majority of other groove tunes, and features a carefully crafted vocal sample throughout. Matt Nash and Felix Leiter decided to step out of the usual synths choices for groove tracks on this one, as the track does not have as much of a repetitive sound as some others. Overall, “Heartbeats” rocks a great energy and unique idea, and is a massive success for Matt Nash and Felix Leiter.
