Dannic vs. Tom & Jame – Clap [August 31 – Revealed Recordings]
The past couple of Hardwell intros have been limited to mainly his own tracks up until now. Debuted at Belgium’s world-famous Tomorrowland festival, he used the brand-new track from right-hand man Dannic and rising star duo Tom & Jame to open his festival closing set. This tune is called “Clap,” and marks the first time that either artist has worked together with the other. Dannic most recently curated the third edition of his Dannic Selection EP on the very same label, while Tom & Jame released a remix for David Guetta & Showtek‘s “Sun Goes Down”. “Clap” will be released in its full form on August 31 via Revealed Recordings.
“Clap” sounds a little different in the official preview as compared to the version played at Tomorrowland since the middle breakdown from the Tomorrowland set is actually an upcoming release by Holl & Rush. The melody starts off with a pretty simple sequence with the same synth, before blossoming into a much more complex chord progression. The vocal samples from which the track gains its name starts to make an appearance as the melody presses onward. That vocal is the main attraction as the builder brings the draw closer and closer, and its paired together with a pretty standard set of snare rolls. The drop has a great sound to it, combining a groove that Dannic has perfected and an electro energy that Tom & Jame will ride to continuous success.
Grab this massive Dannic and Tom & Jame collab when it drops on August 31.
