Years & Years – King (Carda Remix) [FREE DOWNLOAD]

The track “King” from Years & Years, the British band from London, has not only been a massive pop hit, but it’s now making the rounds in the EDM scene and new remixes are coming out left and right. Surprisingly there haven’t been a lot of big names putting out there edits, but Carda has taken the opportunity to put his own spin on the tune. He does an excellent job of keeping the best elements of the original while adding a powerful and uplifting progressive house drop, but the mastering needs a bit of work to really make this track pop. When the drop comes in it sounds somewhat restrained, possibly a compression issue, however it takes away a lot of the impact the track could have. If Carda gets this equalized properly he’s got a banger on his hands.
