Martin Garrix vs. Matisse & Sadko – Break Through The Silence [Spinnin’ Records]

It’s feeling like a bit of déjà vu to be writing about a collaboration between Martin Garrix and Matisse & Sadko. They just released “Dragon” last week, and have come back with “Break Through The Silence”. It’s dropping on the same label as the previous collaboration, and rocks quite a similar sound. This one is a vocal track with a male vocalist who goes uncredited. To be completely honest, “Break Through The Silence” is more likely to be an anthem for a couple of reasons. First of all, the vocals are incredible. Second of all, the combination of Martin Garrix‘s percussive style  with Matisse & Sadko‘s melodic mastery shines through much stronger on this track. Lastly, this track just has all the pieces necessary to be an essential must-play for DJs everywhere. Who knows? Maybe they’ll even make a third track to make this a trilogy. Time will only tell.
