Shanahan & Sonny Noto – Can We (incl. Sem Thomasson Remix) [Zerothree]

Shanahan teamed up with Sonny Noto on “Can We,” and the result is a progressive piece of fire that is unquestionably catchy. The Americans also welcomed veteran Sem Thomasson to provide his take on the release. Both pieces rely on the same central set of vocals, but go in completely separate directions from there. The original mix is a softer sound than most progressive house on the market today. The low end is certainly not the main focus, but rather the energetic progression that the top line possessions. Sem Thomasson uses a different vibe in his remix, as he imparts an electro vision on “Can We”. It has a grooving bassline and is paired with an infectious grinding lead. Whether you prefer progressive or electro, this release of “Can We” can satisfy any dance music fan.
