Oliver Heldens & Shaun Frank feat. Delaney Jane – Shades Of Grey [Spinnin’ Records]

I think we can safely say that Oliver Heldens is unstoppable. He has proven his abilities on his own, and now together with Shaun Frank and Delaney Jane on “Shades of Grey”. This isn’t some reference to the 50 Shades of Gray movie series, but instead a slick house collaboration. The refreshing thing about this track is that it does not overuse the stereotypical future house synth presets that seem to have flooded the market. Oliver Heldens and Shaun Frank did a wonderful job inventing a unique sound to go along with the overwhelmingly musical melody and vocals. There’s an awesome passion in the vocals from Delaney Jane, and that feeds into the stunningly powerful instrumental crafted by the two producers. “Shades Of Grey” can fit into just about any DJ set, so expect to hear a lot over the coming months.
