Merk & Kremont – Get Get Down [Spinnin’ Records]

Spinnin’ Records has definitely struck gold with their discovery of Italian duo, Merk & Kremont. After releasing “Now Or Never” in late 2014 on the label, they have returned for a groovy electro piece called “Get Get Down”. It’s safe to say this is one of the most popular tracks of the moment, as it has skyrocketed to the top of fans’ favorite tracks to play out. “Get Get Down” has a very infectious energy to it that can be attributed to the rhythmic repetitive vocal sample and the almost hypnotizing flow of the track’s drop. Merk & Kremont make perfect use of a grinding synth that has just the right amount of electro influence on it, and combine it with a legato progression that is beyond catchy. It’s no surprise that Merk & Kremont were capable of putting a tune of this caliber together, and “Get Get Down” will be a highly-played smash hit throughout this summer’s festival season.
