Showtek feat. MC Ambush – 90s By Nature (Remixes) [May 11 – Skink]
Before we get into the remix package, the original mix of “90s By Nature” from Showtek was really disappointing. It sounded way too much like a circus song, and really had no place in the mainstream dance music industry. Luckily, five different artists have in part of their own vision on this tune in order to create a very solid remix package. The five artists who are involved are comprised of Tujamo, TV Noise, Lucas & Steve, Sam Feldt, and Curbi. Each is able to take what was a laughable track and turn it into something useful for DJs in a myriad of genres. The full remix package will be out on May 11 via Skink.
Tujamo picks up exactly where he left off with his last production, as his signature grooving sound is joined by a brass-like lead to create a formidable big room remix. Things get softer next with TV Noise, as they depart from their usual style to provide a rather mellow future house rework. Full-on future house comes from Lucas & Steve, as their signature sound takes over for a smooth and melodic future house take. Sam Feldt absolutely kills it with his remix, using his trademark saxophone sound for the top line to a wonderful tropical house tune. Curbi rounds out the remix package with a massive future house mix that goes in its own direction, but still goes hard.
All five of these remixes will drop on May 11. Enjoy!
