EDC New York Looks To Rock MetLife Stadium Again in 2015
It’s safe to say that the madness of EDC New York 2014 was no isolated incident. Two days full of the biggest of names in dance music took to many different stages to showcase huge new productions and insatiable energy on the decks. The 2015 edition of the festival promises to bring a similarly impressive festival experience to the New York City area at the scene venue, on the same weekend, and with some of the same performers from last year.
The Saturday lineup is stacked with some of the biggest names from mainstream house and trance. In particular, DJs with the magnitude like Afrojack, Armin van Buuren, Hardwell, Martin Garrix, Nicky Romero, W&W, and more will be taking the stage. Of course, there will be a lot more going on than just who’s playing on the mainstage. Carl Cox & Friends will be bringing the tech house vibe to the festival, while Loco Dice and John Digweed will bring plenty of techno and minimal sounds. Also worth nothing: Dutch genre-bending trio Yellow Claw will be making an appearance in a set that’s definitely not to miss.
Sunday brings in more variety, as the DJs listed for this day come from all over the musical spectrum. Dubstep and trap are well-represented by Datsik, Crizzly, LOUDPVCK, and DJ Snake, while the future house vibes will be alive and well thanks to Oliver Heldens and Tchami. Mainstream DJs like Calvin Harris, Kaskade, Knife Party, and Tiësto will bring their unique sounds to the mainstage on this similarly awesome second and final day of the festival.
This show is not sold-out yet, so be sure to grab your tickets for EDC New York as soon as you possibly can! Stay tuned, as we will be offering our advice on who to see, and how to have the best time in the coming weeks.
