Kryder‘s Sosumi Records project to create a label that gives out great music for free has a brand-new weapon for ravers and DJs alike with the latest from Max Vangeli and Flatdisk. Mr. Vangeli worked with the Italian duo away from his usual partner AN21 to create “Skin”. From the first, very basic listen to the track, it’s very obvious why the label boss added this tune to the record box of the Groove Cartel. The bassline follows a very groovy, and catchy pattern as it slides back and forth between its notes. That same rhythmic progression lends its hand to the top line as well, as the groove matches with a fluid top synth that takes the energy of the track to a brand-new level. The breakdown between the two drops has a heavy disco influence to it, which keeps the mood of the track on a high-level even though the bass is not bumping. Before you know it, it’s straight back into another dose of the hypnotic, grooving sound that is finally making a comeback in the dance music industry.
