Don Diablo feat. Maluca – My Window [April 13 – Spinnin’ Records]

It’s difficult to think of anyone who is more of a musical Swiss Army knife than Don Diablo. In the past, he has produced everything from electro to progressive, but has now landed on a powerful future house vibe in his recent productions. That vibe was the main focus on his last release titled “Chain Reaction,” and continues on “My Window”. This tune has landed back on the regular Spinnin’ Records imprint even though Don Diablo just introduced his very own Hexagon imprint. Listen to your favorite DJ’s radio show for an extended taste of “My Window,” leading up to its full release on April 13.

The breakdown starts with a downright scary atmosphere with a screaming high-pitched synth forming the background for some heavily effected vocals. The sound then shifts away to a female vocalist and a set of deeper sounding synths. That second section then get looped together to create a pretty simple buildup. One last vocal sample triggers the drop, which is another dose of Don Diablo magic. Energetic future synths meet with a lively low-end to make “My Window” the next future house smash.
