Pleasurekraft Presents: Kraftek Villains Vol. 3 [Kraftek]
For fans of techno and tech house, this release is for you. Consisting of four superbly produced tracks by established DJs in the genre, the release will keep you satisfied with new sounds and the pumping bass-lines you need to get through your day. The first track is by Sinisa Tamamovic and sports a powerful and driving bass-line that provides the track with a boatload of energy. It brings a lot of life to a dance floor, but at the same time falls prey to that timeless techno vice in that it tends to be a bit too repetitive for its own good. Rafa Barrios has a very uniquely funky and trippy track that brings a lot of much-needed color to the release. Another powerful, booming track, it uses reverb and an astounding kick drum to elevate the track to another level. An odd duck, but a great listen nonetheless and sounds amazing through nice speakers. Miguel Bastida has a deeper, darker track and uses space a bit more to create a very late-night feel. The synths are incredibly well done and have a thick, juicy tone that is helped even more by great effects and rhythm. This is by far the standout track of the release and should be in any tech house fan’s library. Darkrow and Giuseppe’s track “Dresda” closes out the group and is another standout example of great tech house. The percussion sounds great and meshes well with the thick, deep bass, and the groove is on point.
This release is a must have for techno/tech house fans. Give it a listen.
