Sander van Doorn & Firebeatz & Julian Jordan – Rage [Doorn Records]

It’s safe to say the road was kind to the artists involved in this mega-collaboration. Sander van Doorn, Firebeatz, and Julian Jordan found themselves crammed into a bus as they toured Canada, and put together “Rage” between gigs. Now, normally when you think of these artists, the big room sound pops into your head. That sound does make a bit of an appearance, but “Rage” is mostly future house. The melody has that main room vibe to it as it gracefully slides from note to note. Once the drop comes around, the feel completely changes. A future house top line and a more than adequate bassline make “Rage” the quintessential anthem track that this festival season needs.
