Michael Calfan – Treasured Soul (Chocolate Puma Remix) [February 16th]

Rene Steenkist and Rene ter Hurst better known as Zki & Dobre, though known more popularly now as Chocolate Puma, are one of the older duos in the electronic industry and they’ve been active since 1991 meaning they’ve probably been making music longer than most of our readers have been alive. They haven’t missed a stride all these years though and their productions, especially over the last two years have been some of the best I’ve heard. Their remix of French DJ Michael Calfan’s track “Treasured Soul” which was previewed by Danny Howard on BBC Radio is a straight up banger with a bass line that will satisfy even the biggest bass heads. It’s seriously a work of art, it’s deep, thunderous, quick hitting, and musical all at the same time and I have no idea how they made it.

Chocolate Puma never fails to impress with their creative sound that blends the best of older generation EDM with the latest and greatest production techniques.
