Clean Bandit – Real Love (The Chainsmokers Remix)

In the past we’ve seen The Chainsmokers do mainly progressive and indie house productions, but we haven’t really seen them do anything at a slower tempo until now. Even their track “Kanye” is faster paced, but their remix of Clean Bandit’s track “Real Love” is new territory for the duo and a far cry from their hit track “Selfie” which helped them skyrocket to fame. The 105bpm tune is a nice blend of the indie/progressive elements that gave The Chainsmokers their original cult following, but it expertly blends the wonderful vocals of Grace Chatto and brings out the best qualities of her powerful voices.

The overall sound is delicate and airy with a very clean touch that we’ve long praised Alex and Drew for maintaining. The downtempo sound works well with the genre of music that “Real Love” fits into and there is clearly a lot of emotion in the track. We’re definitely giving this one a thumbs up, so make sure to grab it when it’s available on January 26th via Beatport or on February 10th when it comes to iTunes.
