Joey Dale – Zodiac / Gladiator EP [January 26 – Revealed Recordings]
Joey Dale strikes again with another massive two-track EP on Revealed Recordings. The man who released “Watcha Called Me” and “Shockwave” in the same format back in February 2014 is back to showcase his latest two tracks, known as “Zodiac” and “Gladiator”. Joey Dale has certainly been making noise between his two EPs, dropping big singles like “About The Drop Out” and “Access Denied” and playing shows all over Europe. Hardwell‘s new protégé seems set to make huge moves in the dance music scene in 2015, and everybody already knows that he is one to watch. The “Zodiac / Gladiator” EP will be released on January 26 through Revealed Recordings.
We’ll start with “Zodiac,” since that track will be in the #1 slot of the EP. For fans who are familiar with Joey Dale‘s usual style, “Zodiac” is definitely a bit of a departure. The big-room blueprint of his usual tunes is still there, but the electro influences that appear are a breath of fresh air. The top-line combination of big-room synths with higher-energy electro hits makes “Zodiac” a highly exciting way to kick off the EP. Next up is “Gladiator”. If “Zodiac” is a bit of a departure from the status quo, then “Gladiator” is a gigantic sea-change. “Gladiator” sounds like it might be another big-room track from the melody, but wait till you hear this one drop. Joey Dale has infused his energetic sound into a sweet progressive-style drop, which shows how much he has grown as a producer.
Grab the “Zodiac / Gladiator EP” once it drops on January 26 through Revealed Recordings. Enjoy!
