Dyro & Loopers – Jack It Up [January 26 – WOLV Records]
As WOLV Records moves toward their fifth release, label boss Dyro has brought in another talent to share the bill with in the form of Loopers. These two are no strangers when in the studio together, since they have teamed up back in May 2012 for a track known as “Monster Talk”. Dyro has been on some kind of roll for the past few months, with red-hot hits like “X” (with Bassjackers) and the MC Dynamite-aided “Against All Odds” making prominent appearances on the dance music charts. Loopers has kept pumping out tracks, having released “Steeze” just last month. Together, they have created “Jack It Up,” and it will be released on January 26.
If you compare “Monster Talk” to “Jack It Up,” you would think that each track was produced by totally different set of artists. The breakdown begins with a very dark vibe and consists of a rather simple series of synths and heavily distorted vocal samples. The next sound to join the party appears to be a brass section, which then gives way to a lengthy buildup. For a buildup sequence, there’s a lot going on. It features plenty of percussion, and a wild synth that is pitch-bending up as the drop approaches. After a quick vocal symbol, the madness gets underway, and it’s nothing but sheer brilliance. “Jack It Up” has an intense combination of electro and future house sounds mixed together for a powerful hit for Dyro and Loopers.
Grab “Jack It Up” when it drops through WOLV Records on January 26. Enjoy!
