Yearmix Spotlight: Showtek Yearmix 2014
As 2014 came to a close, DJs all over the world began their annual tradition of summing up the year that was with a 60 minute yearmix. Over the past few weeks, it has become the trendy thing to do, and quite frankly, some became quite monotonous. There are a few that definitely stood out, and we will bring them to you with a special edition of Mix Selection that will highlight our favorite yearmixes.
Showtek cemented their status in the big-room industry throughout 2014, and did so with big solo tracks like “We Like to Party” and collaborations with David Guetta and Ookay. The Dutch duo also impacted the scene by starting their own record label imprint together with Spinnin’ Records, known as Skink Records. To sum up the year that was for their fans, Showtek took it to the next level by cranking out a full two hour mix featuring 70 songs mixed to perfection. Check it out below, and enjoy!
