Chocolate Puma & Firebeatz – I Can’t Understand [Spinnin’ Records]
The third entry in a great series of collaborations has been long-awaited, but takes a totally different route than the original collaboration between the Dutch duos of Chocolate Puma and Firebeatz. After “Just One More Time Baby” and “Sausage Fest,” these groups have once again pooled their talent to create “I Can’t Understand”. The track gains its title from uncredited vocals that take place during each of the breakdowns. The vibe on this track does not match their older collaborations at all, since the track actually has the feel of a fusion between future house and a little bit of big-room. The house influences are quite clear during the breakdowns, with trademark percussive sounds reigning until the buildup. This is where both future house and big-room come into play and take over the drops. A layered piano-like synth that has become all the rage on most future house songs becomes an energetic lead, and is accompanied by a fat, almost big-room-like bassline. Follow big names like Oliver Heldens, R3hab, and Sander van Doorn by adding “I Can’t Understand” to your collection today. Grab it from the link below, and turn it up loud!
