Sick Individuals – Made For This [October 27 – Revealed Recordings]
From last year to this year, no duo has grown as much as the Sick Individuals. From cranking out plentiful remixes for mainstream artists, to working with industry mainstay Axwell, the powerful combination of Ray and Jim has made waves throughout the industry in 2014. The group made their break on Revealed Recordings when they teamed up with Dannic for “Blueprint,” and now return to the imprint for a solo offering titled “Made For This”. The track does feature an uncredited vocalist, and has circulated throughout the Internet is a mysterious ID track. Thankfully, the tracks true identity is now widely available, and is set to be released through Revealed Recordings on October 27.
The structure of “Made For This” follows that of “I Am” very closely, and that serves as one of the tracks biggest strengths. The preview starts off with the tale of a buildup, and into a first and more mellow drop. This one is all about the low-end, since the main attraction is definitely the bass line. There are a few peaks at the main melody, but that comes in at full force later. The break consists of a mellow piano covered on top by an uncredited male vocalist. As he hits the chorus, an absolutely mesmerizing melody begins to fade in from the background. This melody takes control of the soundscape, and serves as the lead on a drop that is both powerful and emotional.
“Made For This” is yet another fantastic effort from the Sick Individuals, and it will be released on October 27. Until then, crank up this preview!
