Nicky Romero & Vicetone feat. When We Are Wild – Let Me Feel [October 6 – Protocol Recordings]
As the weather in the northern hemisphere cools down, the collaborations being released in the dance music industry are certainly heating up. Of course, as this process moves along, many tracks find their way out of the shadows and into the mainstream spotlight. After appearing during the madness that was Ultra Music Festival Miami in March 2014, the long awaited collaboration between Dutchman Nicky Romero and his fellow countrymen Vicetone known as “Let Me Feel” has finally received its official release date. It’s no surprise that these artists have crossed paths in the studio, since the boys of Vicetone have released multiple times on Nicky Romero‘s Protocol Recordings label. The track also features the Dutch indie rock band When We Are Wild to provide vocals. “Let Me Feel” except to drop on October 6.
The preview begins right away with the vocals from When We Are Wild, which sit right over a very mellow set of synths. The vocals feature an absolutely fantastic harmony to them, and this meshes perfectly with the addition of a subtle bassline. When the track reaches the point where most would break out into loud festival chords, Nicky Romero and Vicetone maintain the mellow mood with sublime orchestral sounds as the vocals wax eloquently over the quest to find love. After a little bit of suspense, the chords come back into play. The progression in “Let Me Feel” is undoubtedly one of the best that 2014 has to offer, and this is evident throughout the melody and build sequences. The drop picks up where the melody leaves off, mixing an incredible progression with impeccable composition.
Be sure to grab “Let Me Feel” from Nicky Romero, Vicetone, and When We Are Wild when it drops on October 6 through Protocol Recordings. Until then, enjoy this preview!
