KSHMR & DallasK – Burn [September 17 – Revealed Recordings]
The biggest track of the festival season is now quite close to its release. After being confused as an ID collaboration between Hardwell and MOTi, one of the biggest heavy-hitter tracks of the entire summer actually belongs to the mysterious KSHMR and DallasK. This track marks the debut of both artists on the Revealed Recordings label, and the first time they have worked together. KSHMR most recently dropped “No Heroes” together with Firebeatz, while DallasK continues to ride the success that “Superfuture” has brought him. The two have now fused their talents together to craft “Burn,” a track that first came through the speakers during Hardwell‘s set at Ultra Music Festival Croatia. “Burn” is scheduled to drop on September 17.
With a casual first listen, one can easily tell how this track was confused with something out of the studio of either Hardwell or MOTi. The preview kicks off with a high-octane melody that possesses a strong Middle Eastern vibe to it. Throughout, however, the overall feeling is a slightly dark atmosphere, and this aids in the flow of the track. The melody gives way into a buildup, and soon a quick vocal sample sets the stage for an absolutely massive drop. It’s what one would expect from both KSHMR and DallasK when it comes to a drop: a massive bassline combined with a full-bodied and dynamic top line, all bent on causing some destruction on the dance floor.
Be sure to grab “Burn” when it drops on September 17. Enjoy!
