Having your track be given the title of “Demo of the Week” by Hardwell is a pretty strong compliment. A couple months have passed now, but “Blacklist” is still a potent track. The melody on this track rocks one of the most festival-friendly set of rave synths heard in a while, and the progression it covers is completely full of energy. Loud festival chords give way to a suspenseful buildup, which soon leads into a pounding drop.
