Kaizer – Neapolis (Landis Edit)
As an upcoming artist, receiving feedback from another established artist is one of the greatest ways of honing production style, and becoming better at the craft of producing. Someone who knows all about the impact of feedback is Landis, a Miami-based DJ/producer who has taken leaps and bounds with his career in recent months. He grew from just releasing tracks for free to collaborating with Henry Fong and more, and releasing his tunes through prestigious labels like Cr2 Records and Revealed Recordings. He has remained humble, and always takes time to check through the demo and promo tracks sent to his e-mail address, and found this gem from Kaizer. He came across “Neapolis” in one of his basic inbox rundowns, and since he “heard so much potential” in the track, he “decided to make [his] own edit.” The result that has been pumped out is quite impressive, harkening back to Landis‘ addiction to the Melbourne bounce sound. Not only does he had a big new track to his discography, he is also able to bring a producer into the big-time spotlight by tweaking his track.
