Kryder Calls Out MAKJ Over Alleged Track Theft
No one really likes a thief, and it seems as though there’s something sketchy happening in the realm of Axtone Records artists. A post on Kryder‘s Facebook page surfaced on August 22, 2014 revealed a video taken during a set of MAKJ from a venue in Barcelona. In the video, MAKJ is seen and heard announcing via microphone that the next track was his collaboration with Axwell. This is where things get sticky: Kryder has come out saying that the track played by MAKJ is actually an old demo he submitted together with Tom Staar. Nothing really has been confirmed, but MAKJ claims that he was drunk and “got on the mic too late”. This explanation opens up a whole new can of worms, especially DJing is usually a job, and jobs are not performed well when drunk. As well, MAKJ has only called the track “his ID,” perhaps aiding the theory that Axwell would only collaborate with him if he was that drunk as well. Check out the tweets below, and see whose side you’re on.
@MAKJ can you please explain this https://t.co/DwDO8U56u9 absolutely disgusted you would call one of my tracks your own.

the song before is a new ID I’m working on, maybe you should have reached out to me for clarification before accusing me on social media.
