Revealed Recordings pres. The Hardstyle Remixes
As trends in dance music come and go, there have been few constants from the very beginning of the genre’s reign over Europe. One sect of dance music that has remained strong since day one is the sound of hardstyle. Known for it’s faster tempo and unforgiving bass kick, the scene for hardstyle original tracks and remixes is slowly rotating back into the minds of mainstream fans. The team at Revealed Recordings has taken advantage of this swing by putting out a four track remix EP with exclusively hardstyle remixes of four different Revealed releases over the past few months. The list of artists involved is certainly impressive, as names like Audiotricz, Wasted Penguinz, Hard Driver, Substance One, and Jay Cosmic certainly make up a powerful A-list of remixers. Audiotricz took on one of the biggest hits from the label boss himself with a beautiful progressive hardstyle remix of “Dare You”. Wasted Penguinz followed suit with the melodic but hard sound in their remix for JoeySuki & Kill The Buzz‘s “Life Is Calling”. Hard Driver & Substance One teamed up to take on what is arguably the first ever big room track in their remix of W&W and Ummet Ozcan‘s “The Code”. Filling up the last spot on the remix EP is a relative newcomer to the genre from the United Kingdom named Jay Cosmic, and he put his spin on W&W and Blasterjaxx‘s track “Rocket”. It’s interesting to note that the last two remixes mentioned were actually released earlier as free download tracks, and have notable changes in their vocal samples in order to be released through Revealed. These tracks are essential for any DJ trying to get into the hardstyle scene, or just looking to have a change of tempo and pace in their set. Grab all four from the Beatport link below, and enjoy!
