Nico & Vinz – Am I Wrong (CID Remix)
Not many people expected to see Nico & Vinz have the mainstream success of their track “Am I Wrong”. With plenty of top 40 play in the United States and Europe, many DJ’s around the world have decided to hop on and give the track their own taste. One who has done this to great success is New York City-based producer CID. The producer, DJ, and Cedric Gervais collaborator has given the reggae-influenced original an awesome progressive house spin, based mainly on the use of light melodies and just about perfect composition. The vocals from the original remain largely intact, and the rest is just further proof as to why CID is making big leaps in the progressive house industry. This track is a slight departure from the sound that he and Mednas used on “iLL Behavior,” but the track is absolutely great nonetheless.
