Digitaria, Clarian – Favourite Addiction [Hot Creations]
A great new release on Hot Creations has been dropped featuring Brazilian duo Digitaria. A combination of deep and tech house, Favourite Addiction is an incredibly well done and groovy track that will have any dance floor moving. Using a combination of dissonance, synth stabs, and a pumping bass-line, Digitaria’s track is energetic and has a retro-house feel to it that gives the track even more character. The vocals are pretty forgettable, but add a nice ambient feel in the background. The release also features two remixes, one by Jey Kurmis and the other by Groove Armada. Jey’s remix is much lighter and is focused more on percussion than the original. It does however feature a really cool bass/synth combo that gives the original’s synth stabs a run for their money. Groove Armada’s version is definitely the weakest of the release, however has a great groove to it and if you’re a fan of minimalistic and bass-heavy house take a listen to this one.
