Mr. Belt & Wezol – Feel So Good [September 1 – Musical Freedom Records]
The world is really starting to embrace future house: the genre born from a fusion of deep house simplicity and progressive house melodics. One of the most prominent names in the genre is a duo from Delft in the Netherlands, and they go by Mr. Belt & Wezol. They burst onto the scene with their debut on Spinnin’ Records titled “Shiver,” and have moved on to provide similarly styled remixes for the likes of Naxxos and Sander van Doorn. They make their next appearance with an original track on the first mainstream label to embrace future house, and that is Musical Freedom Records. You have to remember when Oliver Heldens released “Gecko” late last year, and now another one of the genre’s finest will make their debut. The track they have created is titled “Feel So Good,” and is scheduled for a September 1 release date on Tiësto‘s imprint.
The first noticeable attribute about this future house track is the difference in tempo. Most mainstream house music occurs in a BPM range of 126 to 130, but “Feel So Good” comes in at a solid 124 BPM. This matches the tempo they used for their “New Orleans” remix, and is much faster than the 121 BPM used on “Shiver”. Their sound is very unique in that they always create their melody in a different synth sound, but never really deviate from the relaxed overall vibe. They included vocals in this tune, from which the titled has been derived, and they are chopped to great success as well. Melodies filter in and out, and “Feel So Good” is a tune to get any crowd going. This track fits perfectly into that set to be played as the sunsets on a beautiful summer night.
This tune is coming September 1 on Musical Freedom Records. Enjoy this awesome new tune from Mr. Belt & Wezol!
