Dyro Announces WOLV Recordings Imprint, Single Titled “Wolv”
The future is bright for Dyro, and the budding Dutch star took his career further into his own hands by beginning to curate his own label, to be called WOLV Recordings. It’s unsure whether there was any falling out with the team at Revealed Recordings, but last year’s highest entry in the DJ Mag Top 100 at #30 clearly wants to take the helm of something other than just his own tracks and sets. This label appears to be the perfect outlet for Dyro‘s new solo tracks, as well as rumored collaborations with R3hab and Martin Garrix. He will begin the label’s existence with a track of his own, suitably titled “WOLV”.
The debut single for the label is absolute madness. The song has a darkish feeling to begin, and that does not disappear at all. Melody and drop alike: “Wolv” goes hard. The track is really dominated by an acid influence, which mainly manifests itself during the drop. This is a departure in the standard sound of Dyro tracks, since most have a big room or electro vibe instead. Vocal samples are intertwined throughout, and the production value that this adds is what makes “WOLV” a must-play. The full track will be released on August 11.
