Dannic feat. Bright Lights – Dear Life (MASTIFF & MIDIcal Remix)
Unfortunately, this post has to go into the category of “Download” rather than “Preview”. Let’s put it this way: the Revealed Recordings remix contest for Dannic‘s track “Dear Life” was not run fairly at all. The contest produced one winner instead of three, and the contest ran longer than expected. As well, the remix that ended in the #54 spot overall ended up winning. Now, we’re talking about the #1 remix, and that came from MASTIFF andMIDIcal. The track maintains a progressive house vibe to it, rather than a simple and boring big room sound. Cleverly chopped versions of the original stems fit perfectly with original production during the break, these guys mean business with their remix. The vocals and production never miss a beat, and this same theme carries over to the drop. The excellence continues here, with beautiful chords working perfectly with beautiful synths.
