Afrojack & Martin Garrix – Turn Up The Speakers [Coming Soon – Wall Recordings]
Everyone knows it: Martin Garrix is everywhere in the dance music scene right now. He has been playing at just about every big festival, and has been working hard to get his name on just about any track he can. He joins forces now with a man who was once in his place (a ghost producer looking to make it big) in the form of Afrojack. Rumors of their collaboration have swirled for months on end, and its a pretty big surprise that “Turn Up The Speakers” did not make it onto “Forget The World” (Afrojack‘s album, in case you’re a dingus) in some way. Their collab is almost undoubtedly signed to Afrojack‘s Wall Recordings imprint, and has no concrete release date.
Each of these two Dutchmen have never been criticized for their ability to craft a sweet-sounding melody, and they definitely did not fail to come through with a dope sound on “Turn Up The Speakers”. The synths are powerful and scream the Afrojack style, but don’t take anything away from the composition help that Martin Garrix certainly delivered. The trademark Garrix big room synths are layered underneath as well. After the “Turn Up The Speakers” vocal sample, the Afrojack drop synths match up with a pounding Martin Garrix bassline, and the ultimate festival banger is born.
“Turn Up The Speakers” is coming soon, so stay tuned!
