Jay Hardway & Mike Hawkins – Freedom [August 11 – Spinnin Records]

Nobody is killing the EDM game right now in the way Mike Hawkins is. Ever since “Soldiers” was released, he’s been all about the middle eastern sounds and the funky kick patterns. He is the ONLY person doing these funky kick patterns, which makes his stuff so original and creative, because it’s not always the same, it’s aways something different. And Jay Hardway absolutely kills his melodies, definitely one of the best right now. So their collab seems only natural and the result is ridiculous. “Freedom” is set to be released August 11th on Spinnin Records.

As I said, the track features the brilliant melodies of Jay Hardway and the massive drops of Mike Hawkins, blending together seamlessly into a perfect track. Both of these guys are extremely talented, and haven’t even come close to peaking yet. Everything can only go up for these guys and “Freedom” shows us just that.
