Oliver Heldens – Koala [August 4 – Spinnin Records]

After being teased under the working title “Holy,” Oliver Heldens follow up to “Gecko” is finally being released. “Koala” is set to be released August 4th on Spinnin Records, so all we can do now is wait and enjoy the preview.

Oliver Heldens follows the same formula as he did on “Gecko,” but with a slightly different sound. He still has the filter right before the drop, but why change what’s working. He was one of the first to bring about this new, extremely funky, not too deep sound to the mainstream and since then, everybody has been playing it and or trying to recreate it. But, nobody does it better than the creator. And sticking with the animal names, just like he sticks with his sound and formula.
