Marshall Jefferson – Move Your Body (Tchami Tribute)
There is no one in the dance music industry who has enjoyed as much of a meteoric rise to success as French future house DJ Tchami. He rose from complete obscurity to catch the eyes of the crew at Fool’s Gold Records, who signed him to the label for his debut EP. The two tracks on the record, “Shot Caller” and title track “Promesses” were very well-received, and opened the door to future label releases. Tchami struck gold once again when his remix for MERCER‘s “Turn It Up” was selected by the Spinnin’ Records crew to be released on the prestigious label. His style has not wavered at all, and has led to official remixes for Martin Garrix & Jay Hardway, and free mixes for Janet Jackson and AlunaGeorge. The Frenchman now continues his trend of releasing his free bootlegs by dropping what he deems a tribute to Marshall Jefferson. He took on “Move Your Body,” and gives the timeless house anthem a taste of the Tchami future house style.
