Various – Revealed Recordings Festival EP Vol. 2 [July 14 – Revealed Recordings]
Revealed Recordings is still riding the success of the first edition of its Festival EP series, and the second embodiment has come to life. The label continues the tradition of filling the EP with three big tunes to fortify DJ sets for the festival season. Overall, the three tracks bring in four different producing entities hailing from the Netherlands, Italy, and the United States. The first track on the EP is a collaboration between Dutch and American, as the long-awaited “Panic” from Jacob van Hage and Halfway House finally gets its official release. Track two is titled “Steel Drum,” and comes from a Rotterdam-based producer named Tom Ferro. Closing off the EP is a big tune from Italian duo, Angemi & Prezioso, and their creation is titled “Brakeless”. The EP will be out in its full glory on July 14.
“Panic” is an absolutely massive big room track which relies on a screaming loud synth top line to go along with one of the hugest basslines of 2014 to date. “Steel Drum” is exactly what the title would imply, as both the drop and break take advantage of the sound that the Caribbean instrument makes. “Brakeless” makes use of the widely-popular Melbourne house sound set for maximum dancefloor potential. Each track is a fantastic breakout hit for each artist, and it is widely assumed that plenty more music will be pumped out by everyone involved.
Grab all three tracks on this second round of the Festival EP on July 14. Enjoy!
