Sean&Bobo & Swede Dreams – Wild [June 29 – SB Records]
Seeing these two names on a song together makes me happy as a fan of underrated artists. Sean&Bobo and Swede Dreams are two of the Internet’s best kept secrets, and the duos have now come together to put their collective genius into “Wild”. The mainstream world got their first taste of the Sean&Bobo sound when their track was selected as a part of Hardwell On Air and Supersoniq Radio, while Swede Dreams made their biggest splash when Danny Avila showed some love to their “Flute” bootleg. “Wild” is part of the constantly updated SB Records catalog, and is scheduled to be released to the world for free on June 29.
The melody section gets going with a more mellow piano sound, laid over a repeating series of plucks. Soon those chords crescendo into a stronger sound, and that becomes even more energetic with the addition of some underlying percussion. Bass comes into play as well during this section of the track, and the overwhelming result of the melody is a positive, hands-in-the-air sound. The build really gets the anticipation ramped up as it spans about 30 seconds of great sound. With a quick vocal saying, “raise your hands up, let’s go wild,” Sean&Bobo and Swede Dreams really get things ramped up. The first few bars are simple and percussive, but with a tiny bit of patience, razor-sharp synths join into the soundscape. No doubt: “Wild” is absolutely massive, and a great result from Sean&Bobo and Swede Dreams.
“Wild” will be hitting the free download market on June 29. Enjoy!
