Joy Wellboy – Before The Sunrise [Bpitch Control]
An interesting new release by the Belgian Joy Wellboy has been dropped on Bpitch control and if you’re looking for a unique blend of styles and production to chew on for the start of June, take a listen to Before The Sunrise. This release is most definitely electronic, but is more on the side of pop and electronica than straight-up dance. A heavy emphasis on vocals and slower overall tempo is a nice change from the fast-paced and energetic tracks usually made by producers these days. The release also includes a few deep remixes of these tracks so if you’re still looking for that dance fix, you can still find satisfaction here. Some of Wellboy’s tracks can be a bit cheesy, but overall the production is well done and they’re nice pieces of music to relax to. Give this release a listen.
