Ivan Gough & Feenixpawl ft. Christine Hoberg – Hear Me [June 2 – Neon Records]
Hmm… Ivan Gough and Feenixpawl… that duo rings a bell. And it should: this powerful combination of Australian solo artist and duo is responsible for making the anthem of 2012, “In My Mind”. They have now reunited in the studio, and the result is yet another progressive house bomb. They worked with Christine Hoberg, and the result of plenty of hard work is titled “Hear Me”. Fans have been waiting for a potential follow-up to “In My Mind” for a while now, and “Hear Me” will definitely satisfy even the most die-hard fanatics. The track has been signed to Australia’s Neon Records, and is scheduled to be released on June 2.
The first break fades in with emotional piano, before the vocals take over. While Christine Hoberg sings, other elements are added to the song, but it’s difficult to to focus on anything besides her beautiful voice. Some of those additions include some subtle percussion and some synths in the background. Once she hits the bridge, a march-like percussion sequence aids in keeping the rhythm. Once completed, reverb, a simple snare hit, and powerful synths comprise a suspenseful buildup. The drop that follows is absolutely flawless, combining stunning composition with vocal firepower. Its safe to say that Ivan Gough and Feenixpawl have another hit on their hands with “Hear Me”.
“Hear Me” will be released on June 2 through Neon Records. Enjoy!
