Kill The Buzz – Carbon [June 6 – Revealed Recordings]
Once an artists proves their track is strong enough for Revealed Recordings, another spot on the label is inevitable. With this in mind, Hardwell‘s label has welcomed back another protégé from Breda: Kill The Buzz. He burst onto the scene in with my favorite track of 2012 (“Party Hard”) and has since collaborated with JoeySuki and has also served as the DJ in charge of mixing “The Sound of Revealed 2013”. His last solo offering on the label was “Shake” back in July 2013, and has now unveiled “Carbon,” thanks to Hardwell On Air. “Carbon” is one of two new tracks upcoming from the young Dutchman, leading to even more excitement regarding what the future holds for his career. “Carbon” will drop on June 2 via Revealed Recordings.
This track is strong from start to finish, of course, thanks to the constant focus that Kill The Buzz has on his production process. The melody is a strong set of plucks at first, which soon grows louder into a more triumphant sound that harkens back to “Party Hard”. The buildup that follows the melody is full of energy, and definitely causes anticipation to grow. The drop tells two tales, as it is divided into two sections and two styles. The first few beats are a dark and dirty electro sound, while the next few bring in a harder, big-room vibe.
“Carbon” will drop on Revealed Recordings on June 6. Enjoy!
