Sometimes, just one more banger is necessary to make the perfect DJ set. If you find yourself in need, then look no further: MERCER has just made a big new main-room weapon. He decided to take on “Ping Pong,” the formerly private DJ tool utilized to great success by trance titan Armin van Buuren. Of course, a few weeks ago, Hardwell remixed the track as well, but the new take from the Frenchman is absolutely gigantic. He combines the two different strategies taken by Armin van Buuren and Hardwell by combining the original, intricate melody with a room-shaking big-room bassline. Some of criticized his rework as being slightly uncreative, however he is actually the first one to take the original melody and tweak it into a big-room banger.
