New World Sound – Pineapple [May 19 – Big Beat Records]
Australia is officially one of the hottest new spots for dance music. Tommy Trash has been on top of his game lately, and the hottest duo from down under is definitely New World Sound. They were behind the smash hit “Flute” with Thomas Newson, and have also worked with Osen on a collaboration on LE7ELS. They bring their solo effort to Big Beat Records with their latest tune, titled “Pineapple”. The track was debuted by Hardwell, and has gone on to receive further early support from W&W as well. “Pineapple” is set for full release on May 19.
“Pineapple” rocks a cool fusion of Melbourne house and big-room house all throughout its run. The intro runs straight into the first drop that has an absolutely rocking sound. The track features a Melbourne house bassline and top line, while parts of the percussion resembles some of the big-room sound they threw into “Flute”. The power of the drops is matched by a rhythmic feel during the break. No triplets or overused big-room presets are present in “Pineapple,” and it looks as though New World Sound will have a track among the most played during festival season.
“Pineapple” from New World Sound will drop on May 19. Until then, enjoy!
