Shanahan – HAWKD [Deal Records]

Shanahan is on an absolute tear right now. The American, who is just off the release of “Life Of Scars” on Cryon Recordings back on April 28, drops his latest solo effort titled “HAWKD” on Deal Records. He showcased his lighter side with “Life Of Scars,” and now is emphasizing a harder electro side with “HAWKD”. The track gets its powerful sound from its energetic breaks, and a powerful lead melody. The drop Shanahan has created also is a finely-tuned fusion of some progressive house melody writing matched together with the high-octane synths that he has shown in his recent work. On the plus side as well, “HAWKD” has gotten support from Swanky Tunes and trance titan Armin van Buuren over the recent weeks.
