Tommy Trash – Lord of The Trance [May 19 – Hysteria Records]
Australia has been hopping with big dance music turns recently, and the next tune from one of their biggest ambassadors is absolutely gigantic. It comes from the man who has as much hair as he has musical talent: a ton. Of course, this is Tommy Trash we’re talking about. He has been the man behind hits like “Monkey In Love,” “Fuckwind,” and, of course, “Reload”. Now, everyone’s favorite head-banging Australian takes his talents to Hysteria Records, where he will release his next single, “Lord of The Trance”. Don’t be too alarmed: it’s only a title, and it appears as though our friend will be continuing to pump out his signature electro house sound. With appearances in the radio shows of Deniz Koyu, Thomas Gold, and Hardwell already, “Lord of The Trance” seems poised for plenty of mainstream success. “Lord of The Trance” is set to drop on May 19.
The melody starts off with a softer vibe. However, that soon builds up as more and more sounds are layered on as the break runs on. Very quickly, its easily noticeable that this track actually has nothing to do with trance. That’s just fine, especially since this track is some high-octane electro. The buildup is comprised of rolling snares, and also some wild, siren-esque sounds as well. The drop keeps that vibe, and features a booming bass kick that matches the traditional wild synths that Tommy Trash has mastered.
Grab “Lord of The Trance” once it drops on May 19. But until then, enjoy this quick teaser now!
