Lunde Bros – Jump Up (incl. David Vrong Remix) [Coming Soon – Mutants Records]
After taking over the last Mutants compilation, Swedish duo Lunde Bros have once again landed on the label with a new EP. When we interviewed them back in March of this year, they told us, “We have a bunch of tracks coming out soon but unfortunately we can’t tell you more now”. However, now that some time has gone by, it is clear that one of the tracks they were referring to is “Jump Up”. Label boss John Dählback is already reporting that the track has been “already played by Tiësto, Afrojack, Dada Life, [and] Dannic,” and the remix EP does feature a remix from David Vrong. This EP will be out shortly.
The original mix of “Jump Up” establishes a signature sound for Lunde Bros in 2014. The synth sounds harken back to “Indy 500,” a track they did together with John Dählback for their Mutants compilation. This should not take away from the power that “Jump Up” has, especially since the bassline is quite dynamic and must have required intricate production knowledge to fully craft. The David Vrong remix takes a slightly different approach, matching the original’s melody and dropping it into a funky/electro house sound.
Grab these two sweet version of “Jump Up” when they drop on Mutants soon!
