Loona – Vamos A La Playa (Milk N Cookies 2014 Remix)
One of America’s best kept secret is Milk N Cookies. They got their name on the map with a remix of Martin Garrix’s “Animals,” and now have taken the time to give another track the remix treatment. Loona‘s “Vamos A La Playa” has always been a great summer tune, and heads to new heights thanks to the Chicago-based duo. The energetic vocal of the original has the best of both worlds: a sweet and mellow piano section, but a drop that is absolutely powerful. Even though they have hardcore electro reputation, the sound on this tune is surprisingly melodic progressive house. But, of course, the bass that garnered the support of Hardwell, The Chainsmokers, Steve Angello, and even a special edit from Afrojack on the “Animals” remix makes yet another appearance.
