Afrojack, Wrabel – Ten Feet Tall (David Guetta Remix) [Def Jam Recordings]
Guetta is back once again with a big room take on AJack and Wrabel’s Ten Feet Tall. An interesting modification to the original, keeping the almost RHCP guitar with the less tone-tastic or lyrically interesting vocals, Guetta keeps thing relatively simple and doesn’t go out of his way to try anything too crazy. That being said, the track is absolutely massive. I try all the tracks I review through both my massive speakers, and my headphones, the latter of which allow me to really hear how a track is mixed. Guetta does not scrimp on the reverb, massive synths, or heavy kick drum and this would make anyone at a festival lose their mind. While not the most melodically creative, this is a piece of music that can bring the energy to any set and worth a listen by any means. Check it out.
