Musical Freedom Records has been plagued by a spell of subpar releases, but thankfully that has come to an end. Thanks to Alvaro and his track “Shades,” the label has been saved from a fall into irrelevance. The track has a mysterious and dark sound to it, but that does not take away from the energy that the song possesses. The chords in the melody are as strong as ever, and the drop is centered around some unique percussion that will clearly pave its own way when played out live on a festival sound system.
